Follow the Baraga County blue diamond signs from the L'Anse and Skanee Road approach through the forest-road network to the Mount Arvon parking area. From there, walk the final old logging road and woodland route to the marked highpoint.

The recommended route begins from L'Anse, follows Skanee Road to Church Road, then Ravine River Road and the signed forest-road system toward Mount Arvon.

The signed route normally reaches a parking area about one quarter mile from the summit. Snow, mud, washouts, logging activity, or deep ruts can require stopping farther away. Return toward L'Anse by the same signed route.
