From the Arizona Snowbowl trailhead, Humphreys Trail climbs through meadow, aspen, and conifer forest into the Kachina Peaks Wilderness. Above treeline, the route follows the exposed summit ridge north to Humphreys Peak.

Arizona Snowbowl
The standard Humphreys Trail approach begins from the Arizona Snowbowl parking area, reached by paved Snowbowl Road north of Flagstaff.
Use the Humphreys Trail parking area.
Arizona Snowbowl identifies the Humphreys Trail as beginning at the far end of Parking Lot 1. Parking and road conditions can change with weather, ski operations, fire restrictions, or temporary forest closures.
